Lazy x SBTG Nike Dunk High The Paramount Redux: Crimson & Clover

Following the launch of the Lazy x SBTG Nike Paramount Dunk, a system error resulted in numerous extra orders being filled. With only a handful of sneakers available, some 40 more orders were processed with no clear solution in sight. In an attempt to appease the unsuccessful orders, Lazy and SBTG are gauging interest with another similarly themed Dunk High titled The Paramount Redux. Available in Crimson and Clover, this style features some added bonuses including zip closure, lacelocks originally reserved for the SBTG x Nike SB Dunk Low and tags.

Thanks to people like designer Inha Luke Yoo this might be the reality. He entered Google’s “MobileTricks” contest and submitted a video of his HoloText concept, which allows you to actually see the person who is texting you in hologram form.

A Chinese company has developed a prototype flying saucer that can hover in the air and be controlled remotely from afar.The aircraft is 1.2 metres (four feet) in diameter and is able to take off and land vertically and hover at an altitude of up to 1,000 metres (yards), Xinhua news agency said.Its top speed is 80 kilometres (50 miles) per hour, it added.It took the Harbin Smart Special Aerocraft Co Ltd 12 years and 28 million yuan (4.1 million dollars) to develop the prototype craft.

DIGIMECH CLOCK

UK designer Duncan Shotton’s Digimech clock may look like an LED or LCD timepiece on the surface, but it’s actual a complicated mechanical contraption that creates a 7-segment digital illusion.

A series of cryptic looking numeric black on white segments are printed on vertical sliders which gradually move into position within a black masking box to reveal the current time. As time passes, the sliders climb to the top, until the 9th digit on any given position hits. After that, the mechanism disengages and drops the slider all the way back to the zero position. Each slider is pushed and pulled through the device by a set of 3 servos driven by a PIC16F628 microcontroller.
